Heather MacArthur has had over 15 years experience in the areas of coaching, facilitation, content design, change management and organizational development. She specializes in leader and team development. She is known for her ability to bridge communication gaps across silo-ed environments, as well as helping individuals leverage their unique abilities to reach their highest level of performance.
Prior to her work with The Executive Advisory, Heather worked as an executive coach and development consultant, collaborating with clients from various segments within The Walt Disney Company, Princess Cruises, City of Hope, the LAPD, and many other companies. As a consultant, she provided coaching on topics such as leadership presence, career planning and management, building organizational development cultures, conflict mediation, development plans and programs, and performance management.
She has also served in the United States Air Force as a senior linguistics manager, where she worked on projects under a top security clearance. During this time she built and managed collaborative efforts between linguistic teams within the National Security Agency and other government agencies, which helped them reduce duplicative efforts, better utilize resources and strategically assign personnel.
Heather holds a
Masters in Mass Communications from California State Northridge University
and a BA in Psychology from University of Maryland. She also has several
certifications in the field of executive coaching, emotional intelligence,
and team intervention training.
