Joe founded the firm and currently serves as
Managing Director. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in communication and
communication studies from Bradley University in Illinois and a Master’s in
organizational communication focusing on both multicultural studies and
interpersonal relationships from Ball State University in Indiana. He
began his career in the Midwest as a researcher and instructor at Ball State
University where he assisted in the first published speech textbook on
CD-ROM. Then, while teaching at a variety of Indiana universities, he
co-founded Professionally Speaking, a communication consulting firm focusing
on business communication and presentation. It was there he realized
the field of communication is an underrated one that provides professionals
with profound insights and valuable techniques to enhance executive
presence, team development, and overall performance. Joe and his associates have been able to gain a wide range of professional experience from numerous industries. They apply this knowledge and background in assisting their clients with a myriad of communication and leadership issues. Joe’s work has produced itself in the forms of training and development, consulting, seminars, executive coaching, counseling, lectures, publications, and public presentations. He believes the advantage The Executive Advisory provides is being able to sort through the complex communication issues people face on a daily basis and provide simple, practical advice with immediate impact. Along side Joe’s professional experience, he has traveled abroad for communication research programs, co-developed The Executive Advisory’s interactive web-based professional development program, and been published in a variety of journals and trade publications on issues of office relationships, politics, leadership, and workplace conflict. Joe is a big sports fan and roots for all his local teams. When he’s not working on projects, he tries to develop a golf game and play with his children. |
